Collaboration is at the core of my approach to designing long-form materials like annual reports, booklets, and multi-page PDFs. From the start, I work closely with cross-functional team members: copywriters, data teams, marketers, and stakeholders, to ensure the content, structure, and goals are clearly understood and aligned.
My standard process begins with a thorough review of the copy to identify key messaging and establish a logical content flow. From there, I build out wireframes to map the layout and define the text hierarchy, this step ensures the information is presented clearly with visual balance.
Once the structure is in place, I flow in the finalized content and begin layering in visual elements like charts, infographics, and brand imagery to bring the story to life. I always design with intention, ensuring that every visual component enhances understanding and supports the overall narrative.
In the final stage, I apply refined design touches, aligning everything to brand standards and checking for visual consistency. Whether it's an annual report or a digital booklet, this structured yet collaborative process ensures every piece is both beautiful and effective.
